HNF1B support day, 4 July 2026

The University of Exeter Medical School are hosting an online HNF1B support day in July for patients, families, carers and clinicians.

HNF1B is a gene involved in the development of several organs including the kidneys, pancreas, reproductive tract and liver.

People with a change in the HNF1B gene can have a variety of problems associated with these organs. This is sometimes called the renal cysts and diabetes syndrome (RCAD) because these are the most common features.

This online event on Saturday 4 July 2026 aims to provide information about this rare disorder to patients, their families and carers and to clinicians.

There will be presentations by experts in different aspects of the condition with the chance to ask questions. There will also be an opportunity to meet up in a virtual environment with other attendees.

You can see the full agenda and register your free place here (opens in a new tab).
