We are working hard to address technical issues affecting microarray testing at our Cambridge laboratory. The issue is causing unavoidable delays to haemato-oncology and rare disease tests that use the microarray method across the East Genomics region.
Urgent tests are being sent to another accredited laboratory within the NHS Genomic Medicine Service. Results will continue to be distributed by the Cambridge laboratory and will take longer than usual to be returned. This aligns with our business continuity plan.
We aim to restore normal service as soon as possible and will update this page with progress.
