To help improve the efficiency and resilience of our regional service, and in line with national expectations, we are centralising some genetic test methods to our lab in Cambridge. This move has now been completed for all microarray tests.
This change requires no actions from ordering clinicians. You should continue to send samples to your local laboratory. Reports will also be returned via that route.
The new pipeline has been fully validated and results will continue to be delivered to the same standards of quality. In line with all changes to our processes, accreditation for the assay pathway is in progress.
