GenomicTesting
Our East Genomic Laboratories provide and coordinate a wide range of genomic tests for the East Midlands and East of England.
Our lead laboratory is at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with local laboratories at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (opens in a new tab) and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (opens in a new tab) enabling us to provide high quality genetic and genomic testing for the 29 NHS Trusts in our region.
We provide and coordinate tests, aiming to deliver results within the agreed turn around times, according to the National Genomic Test Directory (opens in a new tab) for:
- rare and inherited disease
- cancer
- haematological malignancy
Our laboratories only accept samples from clinicians once a clinical referral has been made.
