On this page you can find opportunities to provide feedback on your experiences of various aspects of genetic testing and appointments.
Genetic testing for diabetes in pregnancy
We have two open surveys relating to Glucokinase hyperglycaemia testing in pregnancy:
This survey aims to help us learn more about your awareness and decision‑making before testing. Your feedback will guide us in developing better resources for patients in the future.
This survey is designed to help us understand how well patients understand their genetic test results, their care plan, and the optional screening available during pregnancy for this condition. Your responses will help us develop better resources and support for patients in the future.
A note on these surveys:
- Your current or future care will not be affected in any way by whether you choose to take part or by any of your answers.
- We do not ask for any personal or identifying information, and all responses are completely anonymous.
Genomics Health Hub for patients, the public and communities
The NHS North Thames Genomics Medicine Service is looking to collaborate with local communities to create an easy-to-use online Genomics Health Hub. One major aim of the Hub is to make information about genomics and health clearer, fairer, and easier to access, so that communities can have the opportunity to benefit from advances in genomic healthcare.
Members of the public are invited to complete a short survey asking for their thoughts on different explanations of genomics and genetics. Your responses will help shape the final design of the hub.
Please take a few minutes to share your views here (no prior knowledge of genomics is required).
