Following a Trust-wide EPIC upgrade, it has been noted that a number of GLH Haem-Onc Integrated Reports returned by EPIC net-delivery have included type fonts which are rendered illegible outside of the PDF report. Should you find PDF reports where this has occurred, and where it is impacting on local processes, please email geneticslaboratories@nhs.net and we should be able to provide an alternative form of the report.
Whilst this is subject to an on-going investigation from an IT-related perspective to determine the optimal resolution, we have applied a CUH Genomics Lab mitigation to reduce the possibility of this occurrence and expect only a small number of cases to be affected.
